Year 5

Home Learning

Hi Year 5,

All of this weeks activities are below, I hope you enjoy some of them. As usual Friday's matths is on the White Rose website, should you wish to use it (we are on Week 9). This week, there are no Maths videos for Monday and Tuesday - however the sheets should be self explanatory as we are looking at time tables so most answers will be on the sheet!

Don't forget there are other websites available with home learning resources on if you would prefer those:

It was lovely to speak to most of you last week. I was so pleased to hear that you've all been getting on really well at home and trying your best with some of the work. I was a very proud teacher at the end of all of my calls! I'm sad that we won't get to say a proper goodbye in school before you move on to Year 6, but hopefully lots of you will join in with our class Zoom call on the 13th July - it'll be great to see you!

If you have any issues or questions about this weeks work, do let me know and i'll respond back to you. Please keep your emails and pictures coming in. laugh

Missing you all lots,

Miss Godbold

Learning French in Year 5

Year 5 will be learning to speak and write about shopping and partying! They will be listening and speaking  playscripts to perform. The children will be looking at and discussing other countries around the world which speak French as well as discussing Europe and our own diverse community. The children will assess one another and themselves using the 'Can do statements' from the Languages Ladder.
